The Combined Sumudu Transform and New Homotopy Perturbation Methods for Stiff Systems of Differential Equations

Abstract

In this paper, we present a new approximation technique for solving stiff systems of ordinary differential equations. The proposed technique is based on the use of the Sumudu transformation and the new Homotopy perturbation method (NHPM). The modified technique is transformed the stiff differential equations problem into a systems of algebraic equations to make it easy to solve. The proposed technique has been tested by applying it to solve two stiff -type problems. The numerical results show the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method compared with the results of some other methods.
