The Impact of the Physical, Organizational and Social Work Environment Variables on the Performance of Workers A Field Study in the Lattakia Finance Directorate

Abstract

The aim of the research is to diagnose the reality of the physical, organizational and social work environment variables, and to study their impact on the performance of workers in the Lattakia Finance Directorate.

The research relied on the analytical descriptive approach, and the research community included all workers in the Lattakia Finance Directorate, whose number was (1083) workers, while the research sample was determined using the statistical sample law, as it reached (284) workers, the questionnaire was distributed to it, and (257) questionnaires were returned, with a response rate of (90.49%).

That there is a direct and strong indicative effect of the work environment variables (physical, organizational, social) on the performance of workers in the Lattakia Finance Directorate, and that the arrangement of the work environment variables in their impact on the performance of workers was positive and according to the following order: the social work environment in the first place, the work environment Organizational in second place, physical work environment in third place.
