مدى إمكانية استخدام أنابيب PVC (البولي فينيل كلورايد) في شبكات الصرف الصحي (المياه الباردة والساخنة)
Abstract
تم استخدام جهاز (قلم على قرص) لدراسة نسبة التآكل لأنابيب PVC المستخدمة في شبكات الصرف الصحي تحت ظروف جافة (تحت تأثير الحمل والسرعة وزمن الاختبار).
أظهرت النتائج أن نمط التآكل يعتمد على الحمل: تحت تأثير الحمل المنخفض يلاحظ وجود تآكل حات خلال المرحلة الأولى من عمر العينة (المرحلة الابتدائية من مخطط التآكل)، بينما يظهر تآكل الالتصاق تحت تأثير الحمل العالي وفي مرحلة التآكل الحاد مع وجود منطقة شبه ثابتة لنسبة التآكل بين هاتين المنطقتين، ولكن عند بداية انهيار العينة (انتشار حرارة عالية) يظهر تآكل حاد.
تم دراسة نمط التآكل الحاصل بأنابيب PVC بتحليل السطح المتآكل بواسطة المجهر الضوئي، ولوحظ أن نسبة التآكل تزداد بشكل بسيط مع زيادة سرعة الانزلاق في مرحلتي التآكل الحات (Abrasive) والالتصاق (Adhesive) لأنابيب الصرف الصحي (للمياه الباردة والساخنة). ولوحظ أن نسبة التآكل تزداد تحت تأثير الحمل وزمن التآكل في أنابيب PVC المستخدمة في الصرف عند المياه الساخنة بقيمة أكبر منها بالنسبة لأنابيب المياه الباردة.
A pin-on-disc apparatus has been used to study the wear rate of PVC pipes, used in the sanitation network, in dry conditions (under the impact of speed, load, and test duration).
The findings have shown that the wear pattern depends on load: with light load, abrasion wear has been observed during running-in period (initiation phase of wear curve), whereas adhesion wear has occurred at higher pressures and at the severe wear phase: an almost stable zone of wear percentage between these two zones appears. However, at the failure phase of the specimen (high temperature), a rapid wear rate has been observed.
The pattern of wear has been examined by analyzing the worn surface by means of a microscope. It has been observed that the wear rate increases slightly with increasing sliding speed in the abrasive and adhesive wear phases of PVC pipes (carrying hot and cold water). It has also been observed that increase in wear rate is affected by load wear-duration of PVC pipes, used in drainage hot-pipes, and higher than that in the other type (cold).
