دراسة مقارنة لتأثير استعمال أنواع مختلفة من الأجهزة التعويضية المتحركة على النسج حول السنية
Abstract
إن الهدف من هذا البحث هو دراسة التغيرات لحالة النسج حول السنية عند المرضى الذين يستعملون أجهزة تعويضية متحركة جزئية مختلفة بعد مرور سنتين على استخدامها، حيث شملت الدراسة 65 مريضاً صممت و سلمت لهم أجهزة متحركة جزئية مختلفة وفقاً للقواعد المتبعة و الاستطبابات المحددة لكل حالة (أكريلية تقليدية ARPDs، هيكليةRPDs ، تلسكوبيةTPDs )، و تمت إعادة الفحص لـ 58 مريضاً بعد مرور سنتين على استخدام هذه الأجهزة حيث أجريت مقارنة قياسات الفحص حول السني PTV (Periotest Value) و مشعر فقد الارتباط CAL ((Clin. Attach. Level و مقارنتها مع القيم التي تم تسجيلها عند تسليم الأجهزة، و قد لوحظ وجود اختلاف في درجة فقد الارتباط و قابلية الأسنان للحركة، كما وجدنا زيادة في قيم ال PTVأكثر من 5 وحدات عند حملة الأجهزة الأكريلية التقليدية و قد كانت هذه الزيادة مهمة إحصائياً ( 0.05 P<)، بينما كان التغير الحاصل عند المرضى الذين يستخدمون RPDs) ،( TPDs غير مهم من وجهة النظر الإحصائية ( 0.05 P>)، أي أن الأذى الحاصل لدى المرضى حملة الأجهزة الأكريلية التقليدية كان أكبر منه عند حملة الأجهزة من النوعين الآخرين.
The aim of this study was to investigate the changes of the periodontal tissues of patients wearing different removable partial dentures in two years of their use. The study involved 65 patients and dentures were constructed according to the regulations and indications specified for each case (Conventional acrylic ARPDs, Chrome cobalt dentures RPDs, Telescopic dentures TPDs). The patients were re-examined two years post the use of the appliances and a comparison was carried out for the values of periotest PTV and clinical attach level CAL with those figures obtained right upon the handling of the appliance to the patients. Differences were recorded in CAL and tooth mobility and more of 5 unites increase was recorded for patients with ARPDs which was statistically significant (P< 0.05), whereas the differences occurred with TPDs and RPDs patients were not statically significant (P > 0.05) meaning that the damage of the periodontal tissues was bigger with those wearing ARPDs than with other two appliances patients.
