The Extent of the Practice of Secondary School Principals and Social Role In The Light of The Principles Total Quality Management "A Field Study In Latakia Province"
Abstract
The research aims to identify the extent of the practice of secondary school principals in the province of Latakia social for their role in the internal and external environment of the school in light of the principles of total quality management, and study the differences between managers in the level of this practice due to sex, and years of experience in administrative work, academic qualification. Find adopted descriptive analytical method, it has been developed and distributed a questionnaire on the sample of 157 principals, and returned them (145) questionnaire complete and valid for statistical analysis, and response rate (92.36%). The research found a range of results, including:
*The practice of secondary school principals in Latakia province, the social role of the level in the light of the Principles of Total Quality Management was high in relation to the internal environment of the school, and moderate with respect to the external environment.
*Lack of statistically significant differences between mean scores of secondary school principals in Latakia province in the level of their social role, both in internal and external environment for the school depending on the variable sex.
*The existence of statistically significant differences between mean scores of secondary school principals in Latakia province in the level of their social role, both in internal and external environment for the school depending on qualification and years of management experience to the variables; as it is educational qualification up and years of management experience for managers is increasing the level of practice of social for their role.
