The Effectiveness of the therapeutic language program in the development of expressive language skill of children with Down syndrome

Abstract

The present study aimed to detected the effectiveness of therapeutic language program in the development of expressive language skills(production of simple sentence order) among children with Down syndrome meand the effectiveness of this program in the development of skill by variable sex. To achieve the objectives of the study was designed program to this end application on a sample of children with Down syndrome have been deployed for two groups:(adjusting – experimental) consisted of each group of)12( boys and girls , The total number (24) boys and girls between the ages of (7-9) year-old was chosen to achieve this harmony between the two samples was the application of the program in the city of Damascus and study found the following results : 1- There is a statistically significant difference between the two groups on the expressive language scale in the production of inter simple order in the post application for the experimental group was due to the qualifying program. 2- There is no difference between the average of male and female expressive language scores on the scale after application of the qualifying program.
