المتنبي في المسرح العربي المعاصر بين الواقع والطموح
Abstract
إن المتتبع لحركة المسرح العربي في النصف الثاني من القرن المنصرم، يلاحظ بوضوح أن أغلب المسرحيين العرب عادوا إلى التراث العربي ، واستقوا منه بعض المواقف وبعض الشخصيات التي تركت بصماتٍ واضحة في تاريخنا الأدبي والشعري ، وراحوا يعبَرون بها ومن خلالها عن قضايا تمسَ الواقع الراهن.
وقد كان هناك أسباب جوهرية وراء ظاهرة التفات الكتَاب المسرحيين إلى التراث، تعود في مجملها إلى عوامل فنية وسياسية وثقافية، وقد جعلت هذه الظاهرة الكاتب المسرحي مرتبطاً بالتاريخ العربي، كما جعلته مرتبطاً بواقعه الذي عكس عليه الماضي بصراعاته وتحولاته.
ولما كان الشعر هو الفن المتصل بالروح الإنسانية ، لما يحويه من قيمٍ جمالية ولغوية وتاريخية، فقد استلهمه المبدعون المسرحيون سواء أكان ذلك على مستوى الحدث التاريخي أم على مستوى الشخصية التاريخية أم على مستوى اللغة.
وكان المتنبي واحداً من الشعراء التراثيين الذين عولجوا معالجات درامية في عددٍ من المسرحيات العربية، ولعل السبب في ذلك يعود إلى ماتميَز به المتنبي من صفات شخصية، وما تميَز به عصره من تقدمٍ فكري وتردٍ سياسي.
A pursuer of the Arab theatre movement in the second half of the last century observes clearly that most Arab playwrights have returned to the Arab heritage deriving from it some attitudes and characters which have left evident prints in our literary and poetical history. They have expressed throughthese prints issues that touch on the status quo. There have been essential reasons behind the playwrights' turning to the heritage which as a whole relates to artistic, political and cultural factors. This phenomenon has bound the playwright to the Arabic history, thus connecting him with its reality which has reflected on it the past with its conflicts and shifts.
As poetry is an art connected with the human spirit because of the aesthetical, linguistic and historical values it contains, it has consequently inspired the creative playwright whether at the level of historical incident or at the level of the historical character or at the language level.
