مآخذ ابن هشام على الجوهريّ في ميزان النّحْو
Abstract
يتناول هذا البحث مواقف ابن هشام من آراء الجوهريّ في بعض المسائل النّحْويّة, والأمر الّذي لفت انتباهي أنّ الجوهريّ عالم لغة, وشهرته في النّحْو ليست كشهرته في اللّغة.
يضاف إلى هذا أنّ استخرج آراء عالم ما من معجم ألّفه يتطلب البحث فيهو وهذا المنهج لم يكن مألوفاً عند سابقيه, وإنْ أخذ به بعض المعصرين.
وإنّ تتبع وقفات ابن هشام من الجوهريّ, يبرز لنا ألواناً من أساليب العلماء, وتقويم الآراء تصحيحاً وتقويةً أو توهماص وتضعيفاً
لقد تتبعنا جُلّ هذه المسائل في كتابيه( مغني اللبيب, وتلخيص الشواهد) وتوصلنا إلى نتيجة مفادها أنّ ابن هشام لم ينصف الجوهريّ في مجمل آرائه مع أنّه وافقه في بعضها, وقد وضحنا ذلّك, بمقارنتها مع آراء النحاة.
This paper highlights Ibn Hisham's views toward Al-Jawhari's stands concerning some syntactic issues. To me, it is astonishing that Al-Jawhari is a linguist, still he gains reputation as a grammarian. In fact, tracing the stands of one famous linguist in syntax and morphology in one dictionary he compiled is the main reason for this research. Such a task is unprecedented, although many modernists quote his views. In fact, pursuing Ibn Hisham's critical assessment of Al-Jawhari discloses a spectrum of experts' methodologies, and an assessment of views through sometimes agreeing and disagreeing with them, and remaining neutral at other times. Such issues have been handled in his two books, Mughni al-Labib (Enriching the Shrewd) and Talkhis al-Shawahid (Summarizing the Evidences). This paper concludes that Ibn Hisham has almost always been unfair in assessing Al-Jawhari.
