The Interaction Process for Magnesium Thin Films

Abstract

     The interaction of Magnesium thin films with substrates of Aluminum leads to the formation of Mg  Al.

Mg  Al  form at temperatures of about   with an activation energy of 0.04 eV. Technique of film characterization include Rutherford Backscattering, X-ray diffraction.
