تقويم حالة النسج حول السنية للمرضى حملة الأجهزة التعويضية الجزئية المتحركة باستخدام جهاز الفحص حول السني Periotest
Abstract
إن الغاية من هذا البحث هي دراسة التغيرات لحالة النسج حول السنية عند المرضى الذين يستعملون أجهزة تعويضية متحركة جزئية أكريلية بعد مرور 3 أشهر و سنتين، حيث شملت الدراسة 84 مريضاً، صممت و صنعت ثم سلمت لهم أجهزة متحركة جزئية وفق القواعد المتبعة و الاستطبابات المحددة لكل حالة، ثم أعيد الفحص
لـ 56 مريضاً، و أجريت مقارنة قياسات الفحص حول السني PTV (Periotest Value) و مشعر فقد الارتباط CAL ((Clin. Attach. Loss بعد 3 و 24 شهراً مع القيم التي سُجِّلت عند تسليم الأجهزة، و كانت النتيجة عدم حدوث تغير جوهري مهم إحصائياً في هذه القيم بعد استخدام هذه الأجهزة لمدة زمنية قصيرة (3 أشهر)، في حين زادت قابلية الأسنان للحركة و ارتفعت قيم المشعر CAL (فقد الارتباط) بعد مرور عامين، و قد يكون لعدم تقيد المرضى بقواعد الصحة الفموية و بنظام المراجعات الدورية دور مهم في ذلك.
The aim of this study was to investigate the changes of the periodontal tissues of patients wearing removable partial dentures in three months and two years. The study involved 84 patients whose dentures were constructed according to the procedures and indications specified for each case. 56 patients were re-examined and the values of the PTV (Periotest Value) and CAL (Clin Attach Loss) were compared with those figures recorded at handling of dentures to the patients. Results showed no statistical differences upon using the dentures for 3 months, whereas the mobility of teeth and CAL index figures increased in 2 years. The fact that patients did not follow the oral hygiene roles and the absence of routine recall system may have played a role in those results.
