Abstract

The writings of historians of Andalusia is an important historical material when those interested in writing historical scientific encyclopedias, and one of the most important historians, who relied on the writings of the people of Andalusia Qalqshandi in his encyclopedia Sobh Al-Asha in the starch industry, was relying on a significant number of historians of Andalusia and the novels of Qalqshandi came in most cases identical to the original or change some words.

These novels provided a clear picture of what concerns Andalusia, and the most important historians on whom the Qalqshandi relied: Ibn Abd Rabbo through his book The Unique Contract, Ibn Hazm Al-Andalus in his book Letters of Ibn Hazm, Ibn Abd al-Barr in his book The Joy of Councils and Anas Councils, and Tartushi through his book Siraj al-Muluk, and Ibn al-Abar in his book Hilla Sira, and Ibn Saeed al-Maghribi through his book Morocco in the news of Morocco,  Ibn al-Khatib in his book Tarfa al-Asr fi Dawla Bani Nasr - the Lost, and Al-Himairi in his book Al-Rawd Al-Matar.

These Andalusian works constituted an important scientific material for Al-Qalqshandi over the fourteen parts of his book Subh al-Asha, which in turn is an important source of many historical events that cannot be dispensed with, as it has been unique from others with important information.
