Abstract

هدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة وتحليل الواقع الحالي لقطاع التعليم العالي بمختلف جامعاته ومؤسساته العلمية والتعليمية باعتباره واحدا˝ من أهم القطاعات التي تشكل مخرجاته المدخلات اﻷساسية لسوق العمل ومتطلبات التنمية الشاملة بمختلف مجالاتها وﺃبعادها الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.

وعليه فقد ركز البحث بشكل أساسي على تبيان مفهوم وأهمية وفوائد تطبيق أسلوب إدارة الجودة الشاملة في مجال التعليم العالي وبيان الأساس الموضوعي لكيفية تطبيق هذا الأسلوب الجديد في جامعاتنا ومؤسساتنا العلمية والتعليمية وربط مخرجاتها باحتياجات سوق العمل من خلال تقديم مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات التي من شأنها في حال تطبيقها العمل على تطوير وزيادة القدرة التنافسية لهذه الجامعات لا سيما في ضوء المتغيرات الحالية الناجمة عن تزايد حدة اﻹتجاه نحو العولمة واﻹنفتاح.

This study examines the current position of all the higher education institutions in Syria as contributing to total development in social and economic fields,  being the major providers of qualified labour force for the market. In particular,  the study explains the concept of total quality management style,  its importance,  and the values of its application in the higher education sector. The study concludes with a number of suggestions and recommendations,  which,  if followed by academic institutions,  the competitive ability of those institutions would be enhanced; and they can be better prepared to face the current changes  toward globalization and liberalization.
